Dear Lifeway, 

​

Over these past few weeks I'm sure we have all felt the ramifications from COVID-19 (coronavirus), especially the fear and concern around the world regarding this pandemic. 

​

Due to the Federal Government's ban on gathering together in groups

(and for the concern and safety of our church family, and the wider

community, in particular those who are at higher risk,

the Governing Elders along with myself have decided to suspend our

meeting together on a Sunday morning. 

​

In the meantime, I'm asking that you stay at home as much as possible.

But please, we don't want you to feel alone and isolated, so reach out

and contact us if you need support. 

Until it is safe to meet together again, we will meet online together

each Sunday morning at our usual time of 10am where you will be able

to worship online with us, with the help of worship clips and a sermon

which I will prepare especially to provide encouragement for us all.

There's a lot we are not sure about, including when we will be able to resume our Sunday morning worship services together. But I am confident that the faith and friendship that we all share together will remain strong and continue to grow no matter what the style or the type of setting. 

​

I believe that God's purpose for Lifeway will include new and exciting opportunities to be an expression of His love to each other and to our broader community and so I hope you will continue to pray for myself and our leaders who are really working hard and praying for you and looking forward to what opportunities God reveals.  

​

Trust God, be reminded that He is good, He is faithful, and He has a plan. He loves us and He is working all things together for the good of those who love him.
